Lawn Lounge launched in August 2020 at the height of the pandemic, and was Chamber Music at Bethany’s answer to the question: how can we provide safe access to live music to the Ravenswood community while still supporting local musicians? The series was such a success that it is now a regular part of the Chamber Music at Bethany (CM@B) offerings each year.

Jointly presented by CM@B and Bethany United Church of Christ (UCC), Lawn Lounge is a pay-what-you-can, outdoor music festival on the lawn of Bethany UCC in the Ravenswood neighborhood, 4250 N Paulina St. in Chicago. On select Fridays in August and September from 6-7 pm, enjoy concerts ranging from chamber music and operatic highlights to jazz, a capella voice, soul, and everything in between! BYOB (bring your own blanket and beverage) is encouraged, and ALL proceeds go directly to musicians: Bethany UCC or CM@B take no proceeds from donations made for the concerts.
